As professional educators, whether our role is in special education or general education, we share the obligation to support the success of all of our students. We strive to partner in this process, not only among our in-house staff but also with our parents and guardians to design inclusive educational climates, learning environments, and programs to ensure educational success for each student.

Our goal is to assist you in the further development of your child through research-based intervention, collaboration, communication, and consistency. Our department is committed to delivering quality and effective services that are universally accessible for all students in alignment with the district’s strategic mission and responsive to the needs of our families and community.

Special Education Services

Dr. Lewis Dolphin Stallworth, Sr. Charter Schools, Inc. ensures that students identified with special needs are freely and appropriately educated in accordance with federal and state laws/regulations as mandated under IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act). We support every student’s right to an individualized educational program that is reasonably calculated to provide meaningful educational benefit based on the student’s identified and unique needs. We offer educational support services in and out of the classroom that supports the academic, emotional, social, and developmental achievement of every student.

Counseling Services

Dr. Lewis Dolphin Stallworth, Sr. Charter Schools, Inc. is committed to providing a high-quality guidance and counseling program that supports students, families, and staff. We offer direct and indirect services, coordinated resources, and strategic interventions to enhance students’ emotional, social, and mental well-being so they may realize their greatest potential. Our goal is to foster the social development they need to acquire attitudes, knowledge, and skills for success.

Speech and Language Services

Speech-language pathology services are available for students in Individualized Education Plans. Through these services, Dr. Lewis Dolphin Stallworth, Sr. Charter Schools, Inc. is committed to supporting students with speech and/or language challenges and their access to the general education curriculum. We offer evaluation and intervention services for articulation, language, fluency (stuttering), and many other communication disorders. Students receive the benefits of individualized instruction through services provided on-campus in a small group setting.
